THE HARDCORE THERAPIST

BRANDING
ILLUSTRATION

A branding project for a therapist heavily dedicated to her cause. This project pulled a lot of influence from Fugazi band posters from the late 80’s and early 90’s, hence the cut-out-magazine feel the logo has. I created a library of illustrations and letters and used them throughout the project to invoke the same feel of hand-made punk rock posters. This in tandem with the client’s old concert photos made for a unique take on the recovery-centric brand.

FREELANCE

The funky and off-kilter type and illustrations I used throughout this brand aims to invoke the same feeling of hand-made punk rock posters; imperfect and expressive.

Part of The Hardcore Therapist brand was creating merch that could be sold at Straight Edge events and hardcore punk shows. These pieces are also sold online and all proceeds directly go to underinsured and uninsured clients so they can continue receiving mental health care.

Web design for the brand highlighting counseling services, client reviews, and two playlists curated by the founder herself.
